Academy of Country Music Announces Return of 58th ACM Awards to Texas

Amazon Prime Video has announced the return of the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be broadcast live exclusively to global audiences in 2023 from The Star’s Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. The 2023 awards show is scheduled for Thursday, May 11, 2023. Additional details will be confirmed in the coming months.

The renewal follows the 57th Annual Awards, which was the first major awards show to be streamed live exclusively for global audiences on Prime Video, Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, Amazon Freevee, Amazon Live, and more. Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, said: “We are thrilled to once again bring the Emmy-nominated Academy of Country Music Awards to our global audience. The 2022 show gave viewers an immersive, fan-only, non-stop event showing the ability to create dynamic experiences on Amazon even after the live show ended. We’re excited to join the Academy of Country Music and MRC again for 2023 and help redefine the awards experience for fans.

The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards marks a return to Texas for the first time since the 50th ACM Awards at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in 2015. The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco opened in 2016 and serves as the installation center practice for the Dallas Cowboys, as well as home to many major sporting events throughout the year. The 58th ACM Awards will be the first awards ceremony to take place at the Ford Center.
