Discovery Academy Hosts Fall Jam Outdoor Education Fundraiser – Explore Big Sky

The Big Sky Discovery Academy will be hosting its first annual Fall Jam Outdoor Education Fundraiser at Tips Up on Wednesday, November 10 at 6:30 p.m. Featuring live music from Big Sky favorites Pinky and the Floyd and Luke and Dustin, the night is all about raising money through ticket sales, live and ticketed drinks sales and auctions. Each $ 100 admission ticket includes assorted appetizers, two beer and wine tickets, participation in the live auction and private concert at Tips Up.

Discovery Academy’s winter outdoor education program provides students with opportunities for activities such as ice skating, cross-country and downhill skiing, and outdoor hiking. The money raised during the event will be used to cover equipment expenses as well as ski passes for Discovery Academy staff. The winter program lasts 15 weeks between January and April. Students will participate in an outdoor education program each week.

“We really wanted to provide a fun night out for everyone in our community,” said Scott Poloff, director of Big Sky Discovery. “It’s a great way to learn more about our school, bring the community together and support our students. “
