After a three-year hiatus, Elf the Musical kicks off a holiday tour Nov. 5 in Paducah, Kentucky, and will then visit 12 U.S. cities throughout the season. Sam Scalamoni directs with choreography by Connor Gallagher.

The Non-Equity Tour is led by Cody Garcia as Buddy, Mark Fishback as Santa Claus, Jerquintez Alonzo Gipson as Store Manager, Jaxon James as Michael, Caitlin Lester-Sams as Emily, Bobby Montaniz as Mr. Greenway, Nakiya Peterkin as Deb, Christopher Robert Smith as Walter, and Tieisha Thomas as Jovie.

The set includes Shannon Conboy, David Couter, Will Daly, Nico DiPrimio, Justin Glass, Evan Hussey, TJ Kubler, Juliana Lamia, Ryan Mulvaney, Emily Ann Stys, Emilee Theno, Nicole Zelka and Cait Zuckerman. Swingers include Jo Davis and Daniel Pahl.

Based on the 2003 New Line Cinema film starring Will Ferrell, Elf presents a winners book by Tony Thomas Meehan (Annie, the producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The sleepy chaperone), featuring songs by Tony nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer). The musical made its Broadway debut in 2010 at the Al Hirschfeld Theater and returned there in 2012.

Elf follows Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly slips into Santa’s bag and is transported to the North Pole. Unaware that he is human, Buddy’s enormous size and weak toy-making abilities push him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, he embarks on a journey to New York to find his biological father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the meaning of Christmas.
