Harry Styles helped a fan reveal the gender of her unborn child at a concert in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Watermelon Sugar singer noticed a usual nod in the crowd and took part in an unorthodox gender reveal for a fan called Sydney.

The fan, who was four months pregnant, handed Harry a sealed envelope with her baby’s gender hidden inside.

Stopping to chat with the crowd between performances of his much-loved slate of hits, the entertainer paused to read a sign that read, “Is my baby a boy or a girl?”

Building up the tension with the help of his band, Harry shared with the audience that Sydney was having a daughter.

The stadium erupted in applause as pink lights fell on the crowded stands and Harry ran around the stage punching his fists in the air.

Captured on camera, the moment has been uploaded to TikTok, where the popstar can be heard saying, “She’s about to do the hardest thing in the world there is to do.”

‘I’m sure it will be fine. The most beautiful thing to do in the world. And it’s going to be…’

Harry paused for dramatic effect and added: ‘Los Angeles is a Friday night you’ll never forget. Here we are. Can I please get some tense gender reveal music?

Playing a beat, the former One Direction member didn’t miss the chance to crack a joke, praising the band for their “really nice” backing music and wondering if it might be “something for the fourth album maybe?

Before finally announcing the news that kept the whole audience in suspense, he played a little more by explaining: “It’s what we call edging”.

Harry’s gigs appear to be a prime arena for big fan reveals as it wasn’t the first time his help was asked for a big announcement.

Last June, the megastar helped a fan who wanted come out as gay on stage at Wembley Arena in London.

Again, reading a carefully written sign in the crowd that read: ‘From ONO (One Night Only) to Wembley: Help me out’, Harry willingly complied and responded by raising a rainbow flag above from his head.

With the words, “When I wave this flag above my head, you’ll officially be gay, boy,” the singer waved the symbol of the LGBTQ+ community loudly to applause from the audience.

Harry is currently on his Love on Tour 2022 schedule which is due to end next year.
