Paisley man who sent indecent photos to 14-year-old was caught by undercover cop

A pervert from Paisley has been trapped by an undercover cop after sending despicable videos to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Using an app called Kik, Hillman Road’s Stephen McAloney sent four photos of his penis to an undercover policeman who acted like a teenager named Daisy.

Creepy McAloney, 47, also sent ‘Daisy’ videos of himself pleasuring himself, saying he knew what he was doing was wrong but he ‘was turned on’.

Tax prosecutor David McDonald told Paisley Sheriff Court: “On May 11, 2020, police received information that a Kik user by the name of PaisleyGuy1974 was involved in various online conversations with what appeared to be 14-year-olds. years.

“There was no further engagement until July 1, 2020, when an undercover police officer created an account under Daisy’s name.

“It was noted by the officer that the Kik profile name cannot be changed, but the display name can.

“PaisleyGuy1974 has been identified as the accused and he has changed his display name several times, it was changed to Stephen on one occasion.

“As of July 1, chat logs between the undercover police officer and the accused show the decoy stating that she was 14 years old.

“The defendant said he was 45 and from Scotland. Despite Daisy’s age, the accused kept talking, and he said, “I’ll be nice then” – because of Daisy’s age.

“At the start of the conversation, the defendant sent a picture of his arm in a sling and through a small gap his tribal tattoos could be seen.

“Throughout the conversation, the defendant called Daisy, Miss Mayhem.

“The conversation was inappropriate but not criminal, with the defendant stating how attractive she was, etc.

“On July 10, the defendant asked Daisy: ‘Why don’t you have a boyfriend, you’re really pretty.’

“The conversation continued and the defendant sent a photo of his penis.

“Daisy replied, ‘Oh my God hehe, are they all that big?

“McAloney sent another picture of his penis, then a third picture of his penis.

“The conversation continued and the defendant sent a video of himself masturbating and then a fourth image of his erect penis.

“The defendant then sends another video of him masturbating.”

“The defendant then says ‘I shouldn’t have sent that because it was wrong of me, I just got excited.’

“McAloney then said it was ‘too risky’.

“The last communication was a few days later, but nothing of a sexual nature.”
